I wanted to bring my parents out for dinner last month cos its my mum and dad’s birthday, and mothers’ day, and their wedding anniversary (although this has got nothing to do with me). But I failed to do it. So I decided why not catch a movie together cos the last time my whole family watched together was Titanic! Can you believe how many years ago that was? Lol. So wei lun booked the new cinema at iluma for last Tuesday using alan’s credit card.
I reached and met with alan to collect the tickets first. (I was very sure my family wont be early, so I better have everything ready before they reach). The tickets counter is at the 4th level and we were jokingly asking, ‘what time is the movie ar…. Scarly book Wednesday not today one….’ And alan checked the ticket. REALLY BOOK WEDNESDAY! My brother ar….. I was worried. If cannot change den we would have wasted 50 plus! The girl at the counter just say: cannot. We cannot change. And its time for alan to display his talent: ask for the manager. Then the girl half open the door and talk to her manager, come out still tell us cannot. Hey, we asked for the manager, not for you to speak to the manager for us! So the manager came out, and say that that we cannot change the tickets to Tuesday. Alan ask for him to cancel the credit card amount charged for Wednesday, like a refund, and we will just buy Tuesday’s ones first. And yeah, we got it…. And so I just smiled at alan after we left the counter. This is the ONE time I was ok, and kinda approve him playing the ‘demanding’ role. Cos Wednesday all of us cant make it to movie so it is a must to watch on Tuesday. Hence, I really appreciated that! Lol.
The movie we watched: night at the museum 2. I really love the show. And it hit us’s box high and fly… really very entertaining and humorous show. If you want a good laugh, it is a must watch! J trust me ya!
