cabana gamblers

lets interrupt cambodia.
last saturday and sunday, we had a mini cabana gathering.
on saturday night after work, some of us went over shuqin's house to play mahjong. there were me, hazel,jacq,alan,jing wei, yiru,victor,marilyn,shuqin,dave.
2 tables of mahjong.
one was:victor, me, hazel and jingwei. (winner= huisan and hazel) (:
the other:marilyn, yiru, shuqin and jacq. (winner=yiru and /?? not sure)
we survived till about 7 in the morning b4 we collapsed into bed.
some of them left right after mahjong. whilst jingwei, hazel and i stayed b4 for the 'day'.
hazel and shuqin slept on the bed. cos i insisted that i wont quay sio with them. hazel doesnt want me to hug her to slp like in cambodia. and i dun wan her to keep telling the world i dun slp proper in one position. (: and so i volunteered for the hammock. i covered myself with a blanket, 2 medium pillows, and one large pillow. only half my face could be seen.
we woke up abt 2.30pm. and shuqin talked me to awake..from blurred vision to messaging ppl to be at shuqin's house by 3.15pm. (actually i aimed for them to reach at 3.3o. cos they are nvr punctual unless they have to punch card :)
and their reaction was:
wei long: 3.15 now den you tell me! you think i superman ar?!
noel: (from slpy to startled) huh... 3.15!how to reach in time!!!
alan: cant. (he PMS that day)
cos alan CANT come, we didnt have basketball so we changed our fitness program to b held at sentosa. we bought volleyball and frisbee there and had a great whoo whoo time (:
it was tiring to chase after the -thrown too far away frisbee- and the -hit too distant volleyball-.
everyone was pretty sporting ar. i just love games like this. not too easy, not too beyond my ability. we also bought...................... sand tools!!! haha. this is someone from early childhood education lar. hazel, shuqin and i see that as relaxation therapy. hazel made lots of footsteps, i made a tortoise that looks instead like a starfish, shuqin made a fish and high-five and dave kaypo, made stingray. we took some photos. till i get it will you get to see it..
den we went back about 6 to prepare for steamboat. victor brought rendang over. it was mouthwatering. there were so much food, we wasnt able to finish them. and highlight: victor is a fish dumpling freak.
after that, we had mahjong again. i lost a little. like not very fun to play when you cant seem to get the card when you ting pai very long liao. so i joined ade and wei long to play soccer.(the table whereby there's rows of toy soccer players and you turn them to kick and score. ) we were so noisy due to the excitment, and this caused so much frustration and anger to those playing mahjong. oops, sorry. we just got too too carried away.
like i always love cabana gathering, i love this one (:
