i woke up at an EARLy time of 6.30am.can you believe it!!!we went to our first village.\it was somewhere beside a rubbish dump.yup, with lost of smell, flies, mud and dirty water everywhere.the medical team went there to treat patients and pray for them.we went there, blurred, and for our first time, we preapred our program for the children. we sang songs with them, played games like squirrel and hunter, and each time we say a phrase in english, a cambodian would translate into kemier for us.it was such a new experience. because we had never communicated with children of a different language. the children were really nice and welcoming.they taught us how to play their games. and really tied to understand why our game is about. the older ones could speak a little english and understand us a little. and some could sing ABC.! it was encouraging. but we couldnt get too close. because the medical team warned us that they might have head lice and we shouldnt bend too low to their level. what was so amazing was that we just needed a shade from the sun, and we were nvr thinking if there were air con or concrete floor for us. what i can conclude is that they are really poor and has bad living condition/.
we spent our moring there and left back for bathing at the hotel. they then brought us to phong pheng biggest shoppping centre to have our lunch. we also went to the russian markets and i bought some gifts for my friends and family. seriously, it is a very bad place for shopping. the things are like the same everywhere.! later at night, we pyscho everyone to come for meeting in our room, because we went to look at other rooms and seem to realise that our room is the biggest.and i wasnt realising how big the difference was till everyone came into our room with a wow the moment they open our door.i swear that everyone wowed and commented: yr room is so big! yr toilet so big! yr floor is tiled with marble and ours wooden ! there is a sofa! and television! and a very romantic yellow light! i couldnt stop laughing and awaking, 'how fortunate i was!'
