i am the game master of this station. (:

such scenary, only appear in dramas i see. but, wow, there's such a winding path... this is also the place, we station our telematch.

the challenging road before we see the beautiful sunset and jump into the dam.

say cheesey!

yea!

it is exciting to walk through the rush of water..

we reached a high school(students range from 18 to 20 yrs old) at about 8 plus. we were organising a telematch. a total of five stations, and i am one of the game master. my game was, a pair hadta stablize a water bottle using their foreheads, and walk round a tree and till the team comp[letes do they win. we hadta pair according to their gender as cambodians' tradition: "nan nu shou shou bu qing". they were pretty cute cos some bang into the tree and two guys bang their forehead together. it was cute that each station had a 'certified translator'. whereas, i had none, and hadta search for someone who understand some english to help me with the translation amongst the crowd. and i got this guy, who could understand me a little, and translated very softly. i spent alot of effort using big actions to illustrate my meaning. now i know, why singapore has got this, 'regardless of race, language or religion' pledge. it is a barrier!
after the games, we sang some songs and snap some shots. some of them even asked for our address and hp no. could see that they enjoyed themselves. my translator told me that it is rare that people from another country will come and interact with them. and he really enjoyed himself. he also asked me how singapore is like., and he say that one day, he will want to come. (: i hope that he can realise his dream.

at lunch, we had banana flower soup with rice. actually we had been having a soup dish with rice and a kind of fruits for every meal. it is just that i highlight banana flower soup cos i never knew that banana flower can be used for cooking! the soup is really nice. i like sour soup you see. (:

after lunch, we hang out with the children. played many games.
like the

  • snake: form a row. hands on the waist of the person in front of you. the first person will be the head of the snake and the last will be the tail. the head will try to catch the tail. this is a very enjoyable game. !

  • simon says: we played their version and in their language, and we followed their instructions instead. they asked us to kick the wall, climb on to sit on the wall, beat our friend, tickle each other, act crying , dance, etc....

  • eagle and chicks: cut my explaination, you should know this game by heart. i just love to play this with the young ones. they always enjoy themselves alot.

  • basketball: i rush for some sunblock in my bag, applied them on my face b4 i was willing to join in the game. it was fun, and well, there's this thing about me and eliza. we have our teamwork! (:

3 children brought down something to show us. and we were amazed. they made 3 crocodiles and a snake with the dough i made yesterday. i went down to take a look when the children were in the midst of playing with the dough last night, and i was a little uncomfortable to see them mixing the colour. cos the result would be dirty coloured dough. like dull green or brown that kind. and it doesnt look beautiful. that was why i didnt like it. but when i see that they are making things just as beautifully and they enjoyed it the simplest way, i let them be. (: back to the crocodiles. they are really beautiful. i will load the pics.

in the evening, we went to walk the fields. i saw such nice scenary,.so much greenary, soft sunset, cool breeze.... it was ever so relaxing. we walked a distance, and i saw a boy cycling and i suggested that i cycle and he seats behind me (actually cos i was lazy to walk already), and i cycled to our destination: the dam. we hadta walk past a little rush of water with lots of care b4 we reach the dam and jump into it. too bad hazel had some white shirt on. it was a very nice evening. i enjoyed myself (:
