these are the kids i grab in school, forcing them to take pics with me . hehe..

i was so freaked out to intro ourselves to them! but it all went well (:

cambodia is hot and scorching. i need sunblock b4 anything.

the love for face paint art: hazel, and shereen!

yoo hoo... the response to our carnival..

they lost a game and this is their punishment (:

geraldine and the boy she's gonna adopt.

the dough used to make into what he want: a handphone.

i woke up at 5am. unwillingly. it was really really tiring. i am deprived of sleep.

we had our breakfast, and prepared for school. i mean, we were going school to set up a carnival. we reached there, and moved tables, hung up banners, bloat up balloons and were all not too ready to begin. cos it was our first time and everything hadta be flexible. we were past our planned time to begin and so i had to start with my speech. it was a relieved that i was ok (: hehe.. a pat on yr shoulder huisan!!! (:
our carnival went on smoothly. and everything was pretty ok. just that our stickers and sweets run out a little fast. everyone was really tired as they had to do repeated actions (lighting of distinguished candles, picking up balls and rubber bands etc) and talk non stop for more than 1 hrs. we were like so drained. after which, there were some songs, and a skit. while the guys were doing it with the children, hazel and i were busy snapping pictures with some loithering children. haha...

after lunch, i took my ingredients for dough and started cooking it. quite some offered their help. cos it appears fun and new. so i had a lot of help to knead the coloured dough. the dough was for the children at the orphanage to play at night. i guess they haden tried it b4 and i feel that it would be a very good experience for them and so i brought the receipe and coloured food dye over. well,i didnt waste my knowledge gained in poly right. (:

we went back, and it had been a couple of days, and we had a pile of clothes, and hence we hadta wash it ourselves. we were truly amazed by the ancient method of washing our clothes. we hadta pump water from underground, collect them in a big tub, soak our clothes, use washing powder and scrub it ourselves. wow, we spent like quite long time to wash the drity clothes clean ar. den we hadta hang the clothes on lines ourselves as well.

we went back to our BUNK and took a rest. we played poker cards. eliza introduced a new game. we had quite some fun, till we realise that the oreo bits(i was munching oreo)on the floor had gathered an army of ants. and we hadta use lots of wet wipes to clear them. it felt so creepy to see so many ants and all of us couldnt stand the feeling of our hair standing, and so we left the room.

at night, i called home. kind of miss home when i am in a not very comfortable environment. this is human. when i was staying in the comfy hotel, i didnt miss home at all. and i really miss waking up at 3pm. that seems to be the most fortunate thing that might happen to me then. but to Cambodians, anyone who wakes up after sunrise is named lazy.their sun is shining bright at 6 already! and you bet, i am sure, i belong to this category 'LAZY".
