this is a story of a girl and her best friend...
button and straw were their nick.
they were in the same class in their secondary school. they were actually kind of mixing with different cliques. yet somehow, fate brought them together.
they graduate, and hadta decide where their next step is.
yet, so nicely, they decided for the same course.
young they were, with such life choices, they settle for one when they cant get the other.
and for 3 yrs in their poly life, they had many ups and downs.
they quarrelled, ignored, gave up, cried, picked up, and made up.
projects, other friends, family, boyfriends.. too many to handle. too messy to think straight.
they went through alot together. yes, they did.
they had alot of differences, love to irritate each other till they got fed up.
but deep down, they know real well, to be there for each other, they dun have to promise. they do it.

i have to say sorry, for shutting myself off some time ago.
and it must have hurt you alot.
thank you for not giving up on me, nor our friendship.
other ppl will stare at my weird dressing, but you tell me whats wrong.
you drink with me, pat my head and sent me right to my doorstep when i got messy.
and also, to tell you, and thank you, for being my best friend. (:
when friends are together, the most enjoyable outing does not define the quality of their friendship.
yet, the times whereby going through the lowest point together actually proves, how much you meant to each other.
through you, i've learnt that feelings are very difficult to put into words, but no matter what, i have to learn how to say it out. and face to face thrashing out of matters is always the more ideal choice.
we might drift, due to our commitments.
i cant promise to always be there anymore.
but i daresay, you stay with me.
in a place. in a place no one has a way to take you out.
in my heart.
