yesterday was my last day of school. and handing in our final report for iep on feb 9 means that poly is all over...
the next step.
in search of a job. a full time one.
somethin that i can work with children.
in a fun and meaningful setting?
yesterday, after school, i joined hazel for a cookies baking session. we experimented with the receipe with horlicks. (: well, we were short of choco chips (sharon, i know you will ask me to take out mine but dun try be funny ar) and we hadter make do with cutting chocolate bars.
she bought those small shape cutters and we spend alot of time using those cutters to cut out the shapes. and for the second batch, i was really tired and thus, all the rest were of the same shape (: the easiest shape to do.
the result wasnt fantastic, but we were satisfied!~
we left a box at hazel's house, another big box for me to bring home for my bros and mummy. and a tiny winy one to bring to cabana.
and their comments were:
too dry,
no taste.
too soft.
well, i take these points into consideration and know there's ample room for improvement.,
\DEN, today, i took out for my brothers and mummy.
nice,
not bad.
they kept eating it.
and i know they are the only ppl who would appreciate cos they see me baking it at home and understand the effort,. (:
and not to forget, i really thank hazel so much. she got to know that fri was my last day of sch and she wanted to surprise me by baking cookies for me. but i looked for her so she has no choice but to let go of the surprise and allow me to bake with her. it really touched my heart. really.
it feels like nobdy would really have done that little thing to make me smile.
nobody would feel that just a little act means alot.
it may seem such simple, such an extra mile, but, i appreciate.
